You've Got Mail.
A friend told me i should check out the comments for "Im Gone" so i did and the two that stood out the most were the ones i took screen shots of. Its a good feeling when people can relate to the music i make. Lately a lot of fans have been reaching out to me in my inbox, Dm's, and as well as my email just to tell me that they love what im doing. Thats a great feeling, i am humbled. My co-worker is a 40yr old ex convict and i showed him a couple of my songs and he couldn't even believe what he was hearing. He shook my hand about 10 times lol. Mentally I'm in a better place then i was before and i realize that i owe these people a lot of music and videos. So with that said? I'll be back...

This is one of my favorite beats produced by Dilla... A timeless song and beat. I love this song man. I remember as a kid i would ride shot gun while my mom would drive around running errands playing her cassettes. She'd always have the windows rolled down with her glasses on lip singing while i just be there nodding my head watching her. As a kid your supposed to hate oldies but for some reason i enjoyed them. This Bobby Caldwell sample is amazing. Common's line... "Because of you feelings i handle with care, some niggas recognize your light but they can't handle the glare." Makes me wish you could say that shit to a girl now and she would accept it. But that "love" shit is just a thing of the past i guess. I really miss music like this.
